- The blazon i added was the heraldic text description of the coat of arms.

- What you added (and re-added) was "Blazon Gules, three Roses Argent, two and one between a Chevron Or;", which is not even a proper sentence (besides being misformatted)... Felida97 (talk) 21:19, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- It is the proper heraldic description of that coat of arms. To say that it is "not a proper sentence" is like complaining that a line of C++ or Python code is "not a proper sentence". WeekevIRL (talk) 22:07, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- That may be the case, however, you could also formulate a (some) sentence(s) around/including this description to make it more suitable for, say like, an encyclopedia. If that isn't possible, then maybe Wikipedia isn't the place to collect this kind of information in this form (certainly not randomly inserted in the lead of an article; you won't see lines of code without any introduction on Wikipedia either). But I'm open to being proven wrong, so, if you want, please show me some (or at least one) similar Wikipedia articles (so articles about towns, communes, regions, etc.) with a line similar to the one you added, because I couldn't find any... - I get what you are saying about the placement of it &cetera but i honestly didn't think that it needed the "big production number" of say coat of arms of new york
- The fact that so few of these arms are blazoned is what prompted me to start adding them.
- Aaaanyway, i shall retire unto the teahouse as you suggest and take counsel from the Elders assembled therein.
- I know that you perform much needed service keeping the encyclopedia free from vandals &c. and can do without having to "babysit" over-enthusiastic Noobs like me. I'll leave you in peace with my apologies.
