Thanks for your inquiry on my talk page, Webwinnow. I would say that it appears that George The Dragon misunderstood what you were intending with your edits. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 21:21, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Webwinnow! I saw your work regarding Lisa Masson. I have a suggestion for you - when you're working on an article, it's sometimes helpful to work on it in a private sandbox. For example, set up a page called User:Webwinnow/Lisa Masson and work on the article there. Then no one will touch it until it's done. Some people around here are very zealous about deleting the work of new authors, since it's assumed that they will not follow guidelines. You were doing a good job, actually. I do the same thing. Often it takes a little bit of work before the article will be able to pass AfD criteria. Once you're an established editor, people tend to leave you alone and let you work on it until it's done.

Please note, also, that the fact that it was deleted once does not in any way prevent you from establishing the page again. The way the policies work here, you are free to recreate it.

Since I'm an administrator, I can help you (because you're a confessed newbie). Would you like me to retrieve the text that you were working on, or do you still have it?

By the way, welcome to wikipedia! - Richard Cavell (talk) 04:50, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Webwinnow. I'm laughing out loud at your reply.

Please don't see the AfD deletion as a negative thing - I've had dozens of things deleted, and if what you're working on is worth including, there's always a way forward. You can work on your article here: User:Webwinnow/sandbox. No one should touch it now. When you're ready, then you can copy-and-paste it into the Lisa Masson space. But make sure it addresses what the people at AfD were talking about before you do that. - Richard Cavell (talk) 05:11, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, it's impossible (of course) for me to tell whether you are Lisa Masson yourself. It seems as though you might be. If you are, please note that wikipedia really frowns on people writing about themselves - see Wikipedia:Autobiography. Again, don't take it personally. It's a conflict-of-interest thing. - Richard Cavell (talk) 05:16, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can't even imagine how you did that so fast! Wonderful! I am so happy. Honest biography of amazing and much respected lady doc. Hope I do her justice. I will dive into this project early tomorrow as my eyes are about to fall out. Thanks for being the hero.Webwinnow (talk) 05:27, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[from talk:Richardcavell|talk]Webwinnow (talk) 23:24, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
