It has happened again - I did some research and discovered that the huband of Kamala Lopez-Dawson is an IT guy. He obviously keeps creating new sock puppets, removing items from the page and then retreating again. Is it possible to suspend edits on the page until this is cleared up?
- Hi. The issue has been resolved for the time being. Please request help again if the problem recurs. Thanks.--Diannaa (Talk) 02:47, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Jeanmarie Simpson, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Personal blogs are not reliable sources. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 19:55, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. I didn't know. I will read the guidelings. Webberkenny (talk) 21:25, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
- Sure thing. In this case, it's all the more important since the article is a biography of a living person. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 21:57, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
- You seem hell-bent on eviscerating her page. I'm starting to wonder if you haven't got some kind of personal vendetta. I have looked at many pages that have no citations at all, and you haven't touched them. Why must you delete entire sections instead of simply calling for better citations? It's much harder to restore information that has been chipped away the way you have done.Webberkenny (talk) 01:49, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, but this isn't a blog. Encyclopedic information needs to be verified, and in order to maintain Wikipedia's integrity and to guard the project from liability, especially BLPs need to be strictly guarded. You are right that there are millions of other articles I haven't touched. Wikipedia has lots of articles, as you may know. May the gods let me live long enough to eviscerate them all.
As for your claim that there is some sort of personal vendetta--well, I can tell you that Ms. Simpson, after we spent a passionate summer in 1971 practically glued together, did leave me for another man, yes, but I assure you that the memory of that one summer, and the almost thirty years of agony since, have not impeded my judgment. - HA! Funny guy. Okay - I'm working on it. Please let me gather verifiable information. Webberkenny (talk) 02:13, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I went to your talk page to drop this off. It's not much, I'm afraid. There should be enough for some of Simpson's film/theater work, but as an activist, she doesn't seem to have made many headlines, unfortunately. Good luck, and let me know if I can help. I promise I won't share any more of my past with you. Drmies (talk) 02:32, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- Her theatre work and activism are inextricable. Webberkenny (talk) 03:02, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Administrator request
[edit]{{adminhelp}}
There is an obvious sock puppet on the page of Kamala Lopez-Dawson. They keep adding a ton of external links and deleting well-sourced information. Thanks for your help.
- Hello, I'm answering your request for an administrator. I'd like to point out that a sockpuppet investigation has already been concluded, see it here. A checkuser has determined that the new account is technically unrelated to the old one, so they are not a sockpuppet. However, the editor has still been in violation of Wikipedia's policies and at this rate will probably be blocked anyway. Thank you for alerting us to this problem. -- Atama頭 19:18, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you. I find it hard to believe that this new person is not a sockpuppet. They showed up and put an external reference on the page in the wrong place (I corrected it). The person goes by Abesbabe.

RFC on Kamala Lopez page
[edit]I am going to remove the RFC template as your comment is out of scope of the process the template is designed for - what is it you actually want there? Off2riorob (talk) 20:39, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

- I know you mean well, Kenny, but please stop this. You're causing nothing but acrimony and none of it is important at all. I appreciate your loyalty and support, but you're "too close to the subject" to be objective. Please. Let it go.Jeanmariesimpson (talk) 14:40, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Why remove citations?
[edit]Hi. Why did you remove citations from Russ Nelson? Please supply a rationale for each of your removals. Thank you.
