Australians Against Further Immigration

[edit]

Just a note that even though a page is nothing but nonsense or insults, instead of blanking the page, you should just put up a {{D}} for speedy delete and leave the content so that others can evaluate it without having to look through the history. (With the exception being copyright violations). Peyna 16:15, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, will do that next time. I started to look up policies and got lost in Manuals. I like your "user:Talk philosophy"; who does have time to create yet another profile/my_life_on_the_web page? It is helpful people like yourself who encourage me to delve into Wikipedia more. warofwrath 22:13, 29 November 2005 (CST)

I think every Wikipedians gets discouraged or burnt-out from time to time. Don't get too hung up on policies or rules; but there are always a few key ones to keep in mind. A few of the Wikipedia reference pages I find more useful in my editting (and I usually have to use Google to find them because it can be a pain using Wikipedia's search to find them): Wikipedia:Template_messages ; Wikipedia:Policies_and_guidelines (has links to other important policies like the deletion policy). Other than that, the best advice is to play nice, avoid edit and revert wars and don't bite others. Peyna 06:14, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

My addition may have been a bit sloppy, but, just for the record, it was not spam and I am not associated with Freematrix in any way. Thanks for the checkup on that anyways. Warofwrath 06:23, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
