Notability of Eda Pepi

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Eda Pepi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 21:09, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have deleted it again as there is no indication of notability. If you think you can establish notability you can ask to have it restored to your user space to work on until you have established notability. —dgiestc 21:26, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do you add this to my user space so I can add/edit this later

He'll set up a subpage of your user page--you can use this as a private workspace to edit the article at your leisure, and you can copy the contents into the new article when you are done. --Finngall talk 21:37, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, first time creating an article here and can't type fast enough.

I have deleted your draft. The subject appears to be non notable, and you appear to have abandoned it. Also, I was contacted by someone claiming to be the subject, who requested its deletion. J Milburn 21:44, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Eda Hair Temperately Black For A Theater Production.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Eda Hair temperately black for a theater production.jpg. The copy called Image:Eda Hair temperately black for a theater production.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 23:33, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Checkuser

[edit]

I have not listed your case, because as it stands it has no chance to be reviewed by a checkuser. Please have a look at Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/71.192.200.18 for more information. If you need further help, please don't hesitate to post on my talk page or to put {{helpme}} followed by your question on this page. -- lucasbfr talk, checkuser clerk, 08:06, 13 June 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:30, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Richard B. Merrill, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page SD1 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:24, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
