Islam in France

[edit]

You recently removed a large portion of the article Islam in France without explanation. I suggest that you get consensus the talk page before nuking such vast quantities of text and information. Althought that section was possibly POV, that does not excuse wholesale deleting it. savidan(talk) (e@) 23:29, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please see here[1], and submit your evidence (only) in a different section, if you feel appropriate.Zmmz 19:16, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Zakir Naik

[edit]

You may not realize it, but I have been trying to keep the article fair. That means removing criticisms if they're put in the wrong places. Please try to return the fairness and stop putting rebuttals in the criticism section.

Also, your insistence on posting links to Naik books and videos in every possible place in the article amounts to linkspamming. The amount of pro and anti material should be proportionate! There's even a WP policy against doing this: WP:Spam where it says, "Adding many links to (or mentions of) the same site or product. Going through an article and adding the name of your product to every paragraph where it seems relevant is just going to attract the revert button."

You are trying to use the article to promote Zakir Naik. That's just as wrong as using the article to trash Zakir Naik. Let's just give both sides and leave it alone, OK? You could spend your time working on other articles relating to India, Islam, or Indian Islam. I don't know how you feel about Sufism and popular festivals, but the Indian section in the article on Ziyarat is probably not complete. Zora 03:11, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
