User talk:Wajulp
Welcome!
Hello, Wajulp, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome!

Badgettrg-related edits
[edit]It appears you used another user's account (just before creating the one associated with this talk page), and perhaps to circumvent the protection placed on the article Syphilis; those changes have been reverted (and your request at Talk:Syphilis#My edits today struck thru, in part because the reversion makes what you requested there almost completely pointless). The account you used has been temporarily blocked from editing; please see User talk:Badgettrg#User:Waljup-related edits for some background to these actions.
You are welcome immediately to use your account (the one associated with this user-talk page) to propose on Talk:Syphilis changes (perhaps the same ones) that longer established colleagues may agree to make to the article on your behalf.
I'd be glad answer questions, which can appear (preferably indented) directly below in this section. Thanks,

- For future reference, if you would like to request an edit to a semi-protected page, post Template:editsemiprocted on the article's talk page, and detail your proposed edits just below it. The way you two elected to do things is severely frowned upon here, as accounts may not be shared. Beeblebrox (talk) 06:27, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- For the record, BB would mean Template:Editsemiprotected, which you apply in the form of {{Editsemiprotected}}.

- A colleague has noted that the semi-protection was overdue to be lifted, and it appears you're now free to put forward the changes you had in mind, under your own account. Once more, welcome!

- Hmm, if you'd like to skip the educational exercise of keying in your changes and troubleshooting your typos and confusions about wiki-markup,
- Link to Syphilis.
- Click on the History tab.
- Check the edit-history entry for my 05:02, 25 March 2010 reversion of Badgettrg's edits on your behalf to see if your view includes an "undo" link (for reversing the effects my edit had on the article); if it does, click on it, and if the next screen says "can be undone", type in the "edit summary" pane something like
- undoing [[User:Jerzy]]'s reversion: restore revision prepared, (in 3 edits) by [[User:Badgettrg]], according to my instructions
- (along with any further summary you desire), click "Preview", proofread, and click "Save page".
