A tag has been placed on History of Cycling in Western Australia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

History of Cycling in Western Australia
[edit]I moved the page History of Cycling in Western Australia (which probably will be deleted soon) to User:Wainfoatcyclingorgau/History of Cycling in Western Australia (where you have more time to improve it). Some problems, ranked from most urgent to less urgent:
- Your nickname. According to the Wikipedia username policy, it is not allowed to promote a group, company, product or website. Your nickname promotes the cycling.org.au website, so it is best to create a new account, with a neutral nickname.
- The page has a lot of empty sections, and the only real information is about "Cycling WA Life Members". This is clearly a conflict of interest, because you are promoting your organisation.
- The page was tagged because a user thought that it was pure nonsense. Look at how the page looks: you can't blame him/her. Empty sections, names with quotes, nothing else. No introduction, no indication what "Cycling WA Life Members" are and why they are important.
- The page has no references. If somebody wants to verify what Jim Krynen said about Pam Suckling, where can they do that? Suppose that they can do it on the website http://www.example.com, you do that by using the <ref>-syntax:
Pam Suckling • "handicapper and lady with the phone, Garry Suckling's mum, pro background," Jim Krynen,2010 <ref>[http://www.example.com]</ref> |
Which will appear as
Pam Suckling • "handicapper and lady with the phone, Garry Suckling's mum, pro background," Jim Krynen,2010 [1]

I hope this helps you to get started! --EdgeNavidad (talk) 07:14, 4 August 2010 (UTC) You should not forget to change your account name (by registering a new one and abandoning this one), because the current one is not allowed.
I see that you tried to add references, but unfortunately the references do not link to the right place. Where on that website can I read the statements that are in the article? --EdgeNavidad (Talk · Contribs) 06:41, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
