There has been a big misunderstanding, he are a few comments that explain... Hello, this is RUE4533 and JHHN8878. I apologies, I am very new to wiki editing and I believe my incompetence is what triggered the filter. I don't have any intentions to vandalize. The first time I tried to create this page as RUE I accidentally published a blank page, I believe this is what first triggered the filter because after that anytime I attempted to create the page it wouldn't let me. I thought making a new account (JHHN) would fix this, but the same thing happened again. I then pleaded my case in "False Positives" and people thought that I was creating multiple accounts so that I could vandalize even though they admitted the page looked fine. Someone even outlandishly accused me of posting "Harambe memes" which is not true. I now tried to create the page under a new account because the others were banned. Please look over the page I created, it took me a lot of time, I included legitimate references. - COMPASSIONATE727'S REPLY - @WRRE4767: Yeah, this has been a large misunderstanding. I apologize for the confusion, and for the fact that your first two accounts were blocked. You were blocked for using multiple accounts. This isn't in and of itself against Wikipedia's policy, provided you don't use them inappropriately; you can read the details at Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. I myself requested help from the Checkuser who blocked you because I wasn't sure whether this was a case of long-term abuse. It turns out it wasn't. The stuff about vandalism was referring to the filter that prevented you from editing; apparently, there's some ongoing vandalism trend regarding an Internet meme (similar to Harambe) that the filter is designed to prevent. Your edit was fine, and it's tripping of the filter was a false positive. Anyway, I've made the edit for you now. Since your original accounts are banned, your editing with this account technically constitutes block evasion. I'm not going to complain, but if you don't want to run the risk of being blocked again without notice, you should appeal your current blocks. I have asked Bbb23 on his talk page to consider unblocking you; hopefully he will be willing to do this. Because it is a Checkuser block, such things are more difficult to appeal; if he doesn't agree, you'll need to email your appeal to the Arbitration Committee. Provided you are unblocked, you should pick one of these three accounts and use it exclusively going forward. That will help to avoid further problems. Best wishes, —Compassionate727 (T·C) 02:54, 29 July 2018 (UTC) - COMPASSIONATE727 TRYING TO APPEAL MY BLOCKS WITH BBB23 - Greetings! I recently emailed you asking for your opinion about whether JHHN8878 and RUE4533 were sockpuppets of an LTA. You stated that you didn't believe so but indefinitely blocked both of them as sockpuppets of each other. The user has now created a third account (WRRE4767) and replied at Wikipedia:Edit filter/False positives/Reports, explaining that he thought the system had flagged his first account and was blocking his edits because he blanked the page he was trying to edit, and attempted to circumvent this by creating a new account. I accept this explanation in good faith (people trying to get around edit filters like this is common), and I believe that at the time of the block, the user had done nothing forbidden by our sockpuppetry policy. Now, of course, he has evaded a block, but I also accept this in good faith; as he was provided no explanation as to why he was blocked nor how he should appeal it, he no doubt didn't know what else to do. Would you be willing to lift your block(s) on this user, provided he agrees to stick with one account going forward? I would greatly appreciate that. Thanks, —Compassionate727 (T·C) 02:51, 29 July 2018 (UTC) WRRE4767 (talk) 02:18, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I see you've already requested an unblock with another account. Please don't waste our time by making several requests. Max Semenik (talk) 08:05, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
