[edit]Hello, I'm Gooseflesh12. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Rohit Sharma, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! ★Gooseflesh12★ (talk) 15:05, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Rohit Sharma. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 08:32, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- Your source did not support Rohit Sharma as "considered one of the greatest of all time". Jim1138 (talk) 08:34, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

[edit]This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Rohit Sharma, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. No Great Shaker (talk) 09:43, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- That warning message is auto-generated but it isn't specific so I'll explain. You have again breached WP:NPOV having been warned about that before (see above). Articles must be written objectively. We do not allow subjective views unless there are considerable sources which justify their inclusion and, even then, the sourced opinion must be expressed objectively with, if possible, sourced counter-arguments added. Even so, we do allow "greatest of all time" proclamations under any circumstances. No Great Shaker (talk) 09:52, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
Virat kohli
[edit]Then how did you allow "Virat Kohli" wikipedia page to be edited and revised wherein it is written as "greatest of all time ".I had also provided verified citations to prove my point too! WORDSLAYERCHAMP123 (talk) 09:56, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- Different circumstances entirely. See the extent of sourcing and the objectivity of the narrative. If you think Kohli should not be described in that way, please make your point on the article talk page or perhaps with the cricket project. Thank you.
