From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A tag has been placed on WikiBay, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Resolute 05:27, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i don't believe it's spam

[edit]

its jsut a page for people to buy and sell stuff. it's not even spamming. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by WBay (talkcontribs).

It is an article designed to promote a website that does not pass WP:WEB. It most definitely is spam. If you wish to challenge the speedy deletion tags, follow the proper procedure. The tag will be replaced all night long if need be. If you wish to demonstrate that this article passes the two guidelines I mention here, place a {{holdon}} tag on the article and explain why it should be kept in it's talk page. DO NOT remove the speedy tags from articles you create yourself. Resolute 05:38, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

[edit]

STOP reverting deletion notices. You are severely in violation of the three revert rule. If you do not desist, I will report you for these violations, and you may be blocked as a result. Resolute 05:56, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

since u say me aren't u violating 3RR as well?

[edit]

say people say urself—The preceding unsigned comment was added by WBay (talkcontribs).

No, WP:3RR excludes edits that revert vandalism. Removing deletion notices is considered vandalism. Several users have attempted to inform you of the steps to protest deletion. Please follow those steps rather than disrupting Wikipedia. Resolute 06:01, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits made during January 12 2007 (UTC)

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. -- Consumed Crustacean (talk) 06:13, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
