Speedy deletion of Dhamial

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dhamial requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. December 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Scapler (talk) 00:50, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Narma, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 03:27, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

January 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent contributions to the Wikipedia article Narma are very much appreciated. However, please take a moment to review your contributions for spelling, grammatical, capitalization, and punctuation errors before you save. This will help lessen the amount of copyediting others must do on the article, and will help maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance of Wikipedia. You might want to consider using the Firefox web browser, which has spell-check built-in, installing the ieSpell extension for Internet Explorer, or setting up spell-check for Opera.

This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to encourage the best possible writing from our authors. Please take a look at the Manual of Style and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:31, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Jatal

[edit]

The article Jatal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG. There seem to be no reliable sources that discuss this community, although it does appear to exist at least as a name.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

[edit]

The article Khatril has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

[edit]

The article Aura clan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Failure of WP:GNG. Article doesn't cite any reliable sources. Probably made up by the creator no claim of significance. Many related articles like this have already been deleted or at the end of it. The subject is just a name of caste in an area, nothing more than that.
