Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Vzevolod. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Antoine Aureche, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 23:36, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Tayarg! Thank you for those informations that I didn't know before. The only problem that appears at the moment is that the changes I proposed about Antoine Aureche were correct, while the information that was finally added instead (about the Academy of Music and Dance) is false because Antoine Aureche is no longer a teacher in this establishment. The fact that the establishment is quoted can cause problems because it is a public establishment and the information is false. Moreover, the albums that I had proposed to add to the article are very real and public and all streaming platforms allow you to find them. Examples include Spotify: Valfeu "La Belle et la Bête" (2022) : https://open.spotify.com/album/38MmJqfKQydbNvAXH3PdNo Vsevolod1964 (talk) 09:25, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you for your response. Are you, or do you work for or represent, the subject of the article? If so, please do not edit the page directly, but post requests for edits on the article's Talk page. I added the new information just to have something that was finally sourced to reliable sources, but if there are better links please post them on the article's Talk page. Spotify is not a reliable source. Tacyarg (talk) 11:00, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, yes I am, I will try to add the requests! Thank you very much for your help :) Vsevolod1964 (talk) 11:16, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
