The article Cirq has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication of notability. All sources are from the Cirq project itself, none are third-party sources unaffiliated with the project.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TJRC (talk) 19:23, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I see you reverted this with the comment that the Gizmodo article is a "trustworthy third-party source". But that source is identified as a press-release, which is not a third-party source, even if published by a third party; see WP:PRSOURCE. Are you characterizing it wrong in the article, or in your edit summary? TJRC (talk) 19:22, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
I didn't know that a press release is not considered a third party source. I've changed it.

Hey, @Nsk92:
I have added a verified source to the https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Bernstein-Vazirani_algorithm page and removed the "unreliable sources" tag. Let me know if there is anything else I need to do.
Thank you.

While Wikipedia articles should be sufficiently technical, they must also be understandable by the average person. Please endeavor to better explain the concept of the article, and provide additional context. Most folks don't have a background in quantum physics, let alone quantum computing.

Hi @Ldm1954:,the page you have tagged as not meeting Wikipedia's notability guidelines is a summary of a paper that was published in one of the most prestigious computer science journals in the world. Please search for "Quantum singular value transformation" on this page: http://acm-stoc.org/stoc2019/STOC%202019%20accepted%20papers.html to confirm. What else do we need to do to make this page notable? Vtomole (talk) 04:46, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
