DAR President General moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, DAR President General, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. 1292simon (talk) 08:45, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Added some sourcing to Sarah Corbin Robert

[edit]

Hi there. I stumbled on Sarah Corbin Robert because I was working my way through a multi-volume encyclopedia that happens to be out of copyright and it has a few photos of women that can therefore be put in Commons. It had one of her, so I added that photo to her article and a footnote to the encyclopedia (it's now Note 1 on the article).

I noticed you're doing lots of other DAR related work, and I recall seeing other DAR officers and so on mentioned in other volumes of that encyclopedia. It's possible there are other photos I skipped over at the time that are for people you are working on. If you go to the HathiTrust site via the link in Footnote 1 on her bio, they have a pretty good full-text search. So you might be able to find some good source material for your other work.

If you find some photos you'd like to use on HathiTrust and aren't sure how to post them give me a buzz on my talk page, I've been doing a bunch and could either do it for you or give you some tips. Cheers. --Krelnik (talk) 21:27, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
