That was a long time ago. Having looked back at the reversion, it would seem that you didn't just reply to one message, once, but you added one message four times in various points throughout the article, and whilst your message would maybe have been appropriate in reply to one message, at the end of the talk page (as it was then) you also added exactly the same message to three other discussions one of which had been long forgotten and had not been discussed for some two months, and the other two for one month. When replying to messages you should reply once each time and not place the same message four times throughout the talk page, otherwise it comes across as trolling. It had nothing to do with what you said, just that in the way you did it, it looked like "trolling". Had you replied just once, I'm sure it would not have been reverted.
