Speedy deletion nomination of Rajiv Khosla

[edit]

Hello Vothlee,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rajiv Khosla for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Avgr8 (talk) 22:37, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Susan Groenwald moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Susan Groenwald, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Business Wire is not considered a reliable source for establishing notability, as it largely consists of archived press releases, which are not independent. Meanwhile, the Chicago Tribune and Bloomberg citations do not discuss Groenwald in sufficient depth.

I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 01:48, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've added some additional references and put it back in mainspace. Feel free to use those references to continue to expand the article. Thanks for writing it! Bradv 02:21, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Patricia Davidson (disambiguation)

nursing

[edit]

I've been urging people for years to do more biographies of people in nursing. I'm delighted to see that you are working on them. I have made some edits to some of the articles you have been working on, mostly by omitting minor material. For distinguished people, such content just detracts rom the importance. If you need any help , jsut ask on my talk page. DGG ( talk ) 03:23, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

However, pictures of someone receiving an award are usually seen as promotional, unless there is no other free picture of the person available. We do have many in WP, but they are gradually being removed. DGG ( talk ) 01:27, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thx!Vothlee (talk) 02:55, 20 September 2018 (UTC)Vothlee[reply]

I and another editor have also removed inappropriate puffery and excessive claims from an article on Daniel Oerther. Some of it seems to have been restored, and I have started removing again; there is also other material there that needs shortening as well. Please re-read my comment on minor material above. DGG ( talk ) 04:18, 20 September 2018 (UTC) Following your example, additional material pruned. Thx! Vothlee (talk) 23:02, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
