Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs

[edit]
Thank you for your recent articles, including Polish-American vote, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. Let me know if you need help, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 20:59, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am afraid that the deadline for DYKing this has passed (five days since creation). But when you create another article, I'd gladly help. You got the hook idea down, all you need to do is to follow the instructions at T:TDYK next time and you'll see your creation on Wikipedia's main page in no time! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:29, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You can ask at WT:POLAND. But to be frank, the chances of finding a translators are slim. Most of us here focus on improving the English language coverage, not the other way around. If you speak Polish, you can ask at pl:Wikipedia:Kawiarenka pod Wesołym Encyklopedystą, but then, if you did, you wouldn't have to ask. I could translate a request for translation there, but I don't see why anyone would pick this subject over 3 millions or so other articles that are missing on pl wiki compared to en wiki... --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 22:34, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
PS. I see you use a lot of bare urls in your refs. Try formatting them: use http://reftag.appspot.com for Google Book cites, and WP:REFLINKS for other links. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 22:35, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
File:Polish America map.jpg is useful, thank you for your hard work! I am sure someone will translate some content eventually; have you asked at WT:POLAND yet? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:27, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Americans in Poland

[edit]

I know the table you are talking about. Did you notice it says 9 million rather tha 10? I am aware that all these are but estimates. Therefore instead of a single nice number there must be a section, say "Population statistics and estimates" which present various estimetes, within context, and , what is important, with date of estimate. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Polish-American vote, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Order of the White Eagle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Request reason:

I did not use this account in any inappropriate way. I am appealing on the grounds that I did not use this account in any way, shape or form to alter the other account, and I communicated that clearly on the talk page of Linda McMahon reflecting that fact. I never at any time gave any form of misleading communication on the fact that this was the same editor, and my edit history reflects that. Check the edit histories and you will see the two accounts were not used in any way to give the impression that there was difference, nor did I at any time deny or mislead anyone about the facts of the situation.--Votevotevote2012 (talk) 17:13, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The fact remains that you are controlling both accounts, and that you are using both to make edits and comments on the same pages, giving an impression that more than one user is involved. Decide which account will be the one you want to use, and place an appropriate unblock request there that recognizes the reasons you are blocked and how you intend to proceed on Wikipedia in the event you are unblocked. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:09, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
