A reason?...

Is there a reason why I am being notified as to your bot undoing edits I haven't made? 'Cause it's all news to me... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.59.129.194 (talk) 05:56, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Twinkle $ sign not working

Greetings Voice of All,

I am using Twinkle and the $ Sign is not working from few days. Its not showing user info as it showed earlier instead I am getting,

"Searching for current usergroup information. Please wait...(username invalid)"

Please assist.
Thanks in advance.Oniongas (talk) 21:29, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, now it's all 'undefined'. :-) -- Mentifisto 00:04, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, gave up on that for now. The elements' inner text can't be accessed for some reason. Aaron Schulz 00:08, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh, but the text can. ;)
Will need a cache refresh. Of course, to restore the previous behaviour the script would need to make another api call like this one :)

Sweet. Haven't done JS with XML (not HTML) in a while. Aaron Schulz 01:01, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
I don't ever have, but FireBug is simply a blessing. :) Cheers, Amalthea 01:04, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
So now the usergroups are being displayed (not as they were before though) but the account creation time is omitted etc... -- Mentifisto 05:36, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
I've slightly extended it to provide some more information from the API call. It's displaying the info straight from the API, so it didn't get any prettier. --Amalthea 11:42, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh yes, displaying an edit count coupled with available blocks is nice. Thanks. -- Mentifisto 05:34, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Couple of days before it was displaying user group but now same issue again. Oniongas (talk) 19:31, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Another thing, can the tab be also available on Special:Contributions? -- Mentifisto 22:26, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Tab is working now, forgot to mention earlier. Oniongas (talk) 22:38, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Test implementation of flagged protection and patrolled revisions

Hi, could we have an implementation of this on testwiki ? As it's a little complex, we'll need to test the features and it'll probably require some tweaks before an implementation on enwiki. Cenarium (talk) 20:45, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

I have submitted T20334 for a test implementation. Cenarium (talk) 02:34, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Lost

Regarding the TV series. Firstly, a message was left on my page. I never edited this article. (Check my contribs before today) While looking at it I noticed someone added Suck my dick referring to a female character. Ought this be removed?Ron Broxted (talk) 15:53, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

loading scripts.

I notice User:Voice of All/History/monobook.js still uses document.write to include scripts. You should really switch that to importScript(), there are serious problems with using document.write from "onload" events, importScript was specifically designed to counter those issues. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 10:04, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

RC Patrol

Hi - love the RC patrol script. One comment (apologies if I missed it) - the setup guidelines tell you to unselect popups from your gadgets (which I did) but I think you might also want to recommend unselecting the "Add a clock..." option in user interface gadgets, otherwise it the clock will flicker every second (at least it does in firefox). Thanks.     JCutter  talk to me }     03:18, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

I saw that you were listed in the Coaches for reconfirmation section of the admin coaching status page. Could you please update your status, and if you are still interested, drop me a note on my talk page? Thanks, Genius101Guestbook 22:17, 25 April 2009 (UTC) This message was delivered semi-automatically by AutoWikiBrowser.

My apologies, I see you are not a coach. Sorry, Genius101Guestbook 22:49, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Instant soft redirects

I know I'm supposed to make requests at Bugzilla, however, requests are almost never fulfilled there. On Wikipedia Usability Initiative, I redirected my user page to w:User:IRP and it didn't display a soft redirect. It just went straight through. See my user page there (it redirects to my user page here). Now, do you see the text in the address bar after the "?rdfrom="? That can be used to create the "redirected from" text underneath the title. That's how soft redirects on all projects should work. No code has to be written. It's already available on Wikipedia Usability Initiative. (Except for the code for the "redirected from" text), which has to be added to all Wikimedia sites to support these types of soft redirects. -- IRP 21:25, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
