Welcome to Wikipedia
[edit]Hi, I'm Oiyarbepsy and I can see fairies.
Welcome and thank you for joining and editing Wikipedia. Unfortunately, we can't allow you to write articles about yourself or about people or organizations that you work for, per Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy. I would suggest that you instead work on other articles in your area of knowledge.
If you have any questions, please click this link, then hit the new section and rock and roll. I really like to pretend to know what I'm doing here, so I'm sure I'll give you the right answer, and if I don't, you can whack me with a trout.
Thanks, Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:47, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
By the way, this is not an automated bot that placed this message. Yes, it is boilerplate, but it won't appear anywhere if I don't put it there.
Speedy deletion nomination of Soulflower
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Soulflower, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, Vivek.bekhabar. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Zodiac, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.
In particular, most your edits seem to be related to Soulflower. When most of one's edits promote a single company it creates the impression that a conflict of interest exists. Jc3s5h (talk) 14:12, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Wikipedia is a scholarly project, and like all scholarly endeavors, managing COI is essential for ensuring the integrity of Wikipedia and retaining the public's trust in it. COI is managed here in two steps - disclosure and a form of peer review.
Disclosure first: would you please disclose your relationship with Soulflower? You can reply here with your answer. Best regards Jytdog (talk) 12:31, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
Hi, I would like to say that recently I made my account in wikipedia. And I would like to contribute here as a volunteer. I don't have any relationship with Soulflower, its jusy that I have been researching on retail sales, aroma industry and I had a trouble finding the consolidated data, so whatever I am finding from different sources, I am putting the relevant things on wikipedia, which will help other scholars. Also, I will be editing/adding/knowledge sharing on wikipedia on other scholarly articles too. I am keenly interested to contribute to wikipedia as a volunteer. - Thanks Vivek.bekhabar (talk)
- Hi, and thanks for replying. It is hard to believe that you have no relationship with Soulflower; pretty much all your edits are about them. I should have made it more clear, that lots of editors with a conflict of interest start editing Wikipedia unaware of our rules, and that is not a terrible thing - the situation is salvageable. Are you sure you have no relationship with them, or with Shoppers Stop? Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 11:51, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, presently I am doing a research on aroma industry and retail sales, I am not getting information on them on internet easily, so updating the relevent ones, editing the existing pages in this domain and that's why most of mine recent edits are related to it otherwise I don't have any relationship with Shoppers Stop. And as I said I am here as a volunteer and I want to contribute. Feel free to ask if you have more doubts on the same. Thanks Vivek.bekhabar (talk)
- Thanks, can you please say more about the research you are doing? Who are you doing that for? Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 12:23, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Subodh Gupta, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Economic Times. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

you wanted duck life info? here it is.
[edit]in the first duck life game, you have to train your duck for the races. the training skills are running, flying, and swimming. in running, you have to jump over the rocks. in flying, you have to collect coins while you fly. in swimming, you have to either jump or dive to get past the obstacles. the race categories are beginner, amateur, and expert. there is an energy meter on the upper right when you race. to increase the energy, you must give your duck some seed. when you win a race, you win either colors or hats. you also win 50 coins. once you win all the races, you can do the world championship. if you win that, you beat the game and can wear the crown. the story goes: "So you own this huge farm and are making tonnes of money when one day this huge tornado comes and destroys it all. The only thing that survives is a single duck egg so you have to train this duckling into a racing duck to make enough money to rebuild the farm. "
in duck life 2, you start by entering your duck's name. you also choose wether you want the music and sound effects or not. this can later be changed. then you are greeted by a duck wearing the crown. the conversation goes: him: "hey, oreo!" you: "sup." you: "wow nice crown! where did you get it?" him: "you only get one if you're the champion racer." you: "then i must become the champion racer". in this game, you get a new skill: climbing. in running, the only differences from the first game are the fact that you jump lower and there are other objects to avoid besides rocks. in flying, the controls are changed and this time you have to avoid boulders while you fly. in swimming, nothing changes. in climbing, your duck climbs a rocky mountain and you have to use the arrow keys to prevent your duck from getting pushed down by the rocks. once you've reached the maximum skill level, you'll have to buy a higher limit. the race categories are scotland, england, egypt, hawaii, and japan. there are only 2 levels in japan: semi finals and championship final. if you beat the champion, you beat the game and win 200,000 coins, ponytail hair, japan paint, level editor, cheats, and the crown. in cheats, you can change the time and your duck's name. you can also turn on and off free seed, extreme training, black crown and sunglasses.
duck life 3 is pretty different. in duck life 3, you have to pick a type of duck. the 4 types have a different skill that they're best at. in racing, there are 2 categories: qualifiers and finals. your duck starts in the beginner level. in running training, if you click final race, you race the champion. you have to shoot the domo-kuns to prevent them from slowing you down. if you win, you get the throne room, arcade, highscore training games, domo-kun shootout, and 500,000 coins. you can now pick a new duck.
more info coming soon Valehd (talk) 18:32, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
duck life 4 is waaay different. you pick an egg color, since the genetically modified ducks in duck life 3 have been banned. you are greeted by the duck in charge of running training. you start in the grasslands. in running training, you have to do 3 skills: speed, endurance, and reactions. in speed, you have to keep going down, but avoid going to the top. in endurance, you have to collect the falling coins, but avoid obstacles. in reactions, you have to get through the rocks by typing the correct numbers. once you get the ticket, you must enter the tournament by clicking the windmill. if you win, you can go to the swamp. swamp info coming soon! It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
