Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Vitalywiki, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Mean as custard (talk) 09:38, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mean as custard (talk) 09:43, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

I am sorry for constantly adding an external link to the global app development companies list, thinking that the articles might be appropriate. I am a new Wikipedia contributor and did not know that rules are very strict. I apologize and promise not to repeat such actions that may be considered as advertising. Can you please unblock my account, so I can continue using Wikipedia?

Decline reason:

One open request at a time, please. — Daniel Case (talk) 12:56, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You received three warnings which remain visible on this page, and an earlier instruction about avoidance of conflict of interest. Why you ignored these warnings is not clear to me. Given that you will not be allowed to add these links again, what else do you want to do here? --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 12:03, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I realized that I got all three warnings only when I visited this page, I mean my user talk page. Until that, there was only "1" message sign in the main user menu at the top right corner, which I was not thinking it was a series of warnings, so I did not act accordingly. I am a mobile industry professional and would like to contribute a series of articles, following Wikipedia editorial guidelines. I promise to be careful and not to break the rules. I'm asking you, please, to unblock my account so I can make my contributions for other people. It is only simple single request: why no one cares, instead endlessly pointing out the importance of the following the rules?

Decline reason:

To be unblocked, we need a clear statement that you will not persist in spamming and that you've read and understand our policies on conflicts of interest and external links. v/r - TP 22:28, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you punish users so severely, setting the permanent ban for indefinite amount of time? Why no one can't help me? I wrote many messages apologizing and asking to lift the ban. It's been more than three weeks since I apologized.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Vitalywiki (talkcontribs)
Again, you may only have 1 unblock request open at a time - I have changed your most recent to a comment. As someone who reviews unblocks regularly, I'll have to say that yours fails WP:GAB rather clearly - you really should read WP:AAB and amend the above unblock. You should know that we do NOT do "punishment" - we do "protection". You failed to respond to at least 3 warnings about copyright, and copyright issues put this project into legal jeopardy - protection was therefore vital. The fact that you have not a) explained your understanding of the reasons behind your block, b) explained in your own words how you violated the law, c) accepted full responsibility for your actions, d) given admins good reason to believe it won't happen again, the above request is unactionable and is bound to be declined. On top of that, you now state "so that I can make contributions for other people"...that sounds like you plan to directly violate either WP:MEAT or WP:COI - which again will lead to a decline of this unblock. So, once again, I urge you to read WP:GAB and WP:AAB (oh, and learn the difference between a wP:BLOCK and a WP:BAN) ES&L 21:09, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Provectus IT Inc has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a recently established, USA-headquartered IT company, only sourced to online profiles and a press release. I can't see any evidence of journalistic news coverage about the company. Fails WP:NCORP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
