A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Visaassessment/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Bishonen | tålk 14:11, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

One open unblock request at a time, please. You have addressed your inappropriate username but haven't addressed your violations of WP:COI and WP:PROMO and haven't told us what you plan to write about instead, if unblocked. Yamla (talk) 14:28, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Yamla,
Thank you for your feedback and for considering my unblock request. I understand the concerns raised regarding my previous contributions, specifically related to WP
(Conflict of Interest) and WP
(Promotional Content).
Acknowledgement of Issues: I acknowledge that my previous edits may have displayed a conflict of interest and a promotional tone. I sincerely apologize for these issues and appreciate the feedback provided.
Addressing Past Violations: To address the COI concerns, I have taken steps to disassociate myself from direct involvement with the subject of my edits. I will avoid making any edits to articles where I have a personal or financial stake. I will also refrain from using promotional language and focus on contributing content that adheres to Wikipedia’s neutral point of view.
Future Contributions: Moving forward, I plan to contribute to Wikipedia in the following ways:
Neutrality: I will ensure that my edits are impartial and adhere to Wikipedia’s guidelines on neutrality.
Verification: I will provide reliable, independent sources for any information I add or edit.
Non-Promotion: I will avoid any content that could be perceived as promotional. My focus will be on contributing factual, encyclopedic information.
Understanding of Guidelines: I have reviewed the relevant Wikipedia policies, including WP
and WP
, and I am committed to applying these principles to all my future contributions.
Thank you for your consideration. I hope to be able to contribute constructively and in line with Wikipedia’s standards. Visaassessment (talk) 14:33, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
