You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Greater Hartford Church of Christ, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your message on my talk page

[edit]

It's obvious from your extremely rude message that you don't understand how wikipedia works or its purpose. Here's what you wrote:

  • "You had no business whatsoever deleting the page I created for the Greater Hartford Church of Christ." Yes, I did. I'm an administrator and it's my job to delete material that doesn't conform to the inclusion criteria.
  • I posted the history as it was written by an elder of the church, Jim Fuda." That's a conflict of interest, as you've already been told.
  • I will be remaking it with the SAME EXACT content and would appreciate you people leaving it alone. If you do, it will just get deleted again, either by me or another administrator. We are not "you people" - you are "you people" for as long as you don't bother to read or understand our project guidelines.
  • If there is an "advertisements" in the page it is simply trying to bring more souls to Christ. That's an advertisement and we don't allow it.
  • The history is a straight forward history of the church and is in no way. shape, or form, an advertisement. Maybe not, but the rest of the article is - and if you don't include references to show that the church is notable, it will be deleted as not notable.
  • Furthermore, any business or company that creates a page on here is advertising their business. That may well be true. Most of the articles about businesses that are included "on here" were either not written by the owners of the companies or were written by people who have taken the trouble to understand the guidelines and have written the article in accordance with those guidelines and principles.
  • Again, I would appreciate you people leaving my page alone. It is not your page. Once it is accepted on wikipedia, it becomes our page. Deb (talk) 12:02, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
