Re:Portal Indian law

[edit]

Thanks for creating the portal on Indian law. I will surely try to help in contributing and development of the portal. Though portal is a good idea to showcase the best articles and pictures, however, at the current stage there is dearth of good articles on Indian law. It will be more helpful if we can create a separate wikiproject on Indian law, which will help us to collaborate in a better manner. Amartyabag TALK2ME 04:56, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Category:Law in India for all the related articles. Generally a Wikiproject is created first and once similar minded people have joined, we go for creating portal (it is a dying thing though) for showcasing the best articles under that Wikiproject. Amartyabag TALK2ME

Thanks for agreeing to speedy reversal of the category changes, much appreciated.

About the banner that I added to your user page: this is highly desirable when a WP:user page is made to look like an article, otherwise the rule at WP:FAKEARTICLE means that it could be deleted. – Fayenatic London 22:38, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Constituent Assembly of India, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Muslim League (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

MfD nomination of Portal:Laws in India

[edit]

Portal:Laws in India, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Laws in India and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Portal:Laws in India during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Legacypac (talk) 15:23, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Portal:Laws in India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section P2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a portal based on a topic for which there is no non-stub header article, and there are not at least three non-stub articles detailing subject matter that would be appropriate to discuss under the title of that portal.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
