The article Vasily Vlasov has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. - Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Andrey Smagin. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --Finngall talk 17:16, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The Green Elephant 2
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Green Elephant 2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2.92.78.198 (talk) 20:07, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
ru: Участник:VikiLaikeR199
- Please disregard. The A7 speedy deletion criteria specifically do not apply to movies and other creative works, and I have removed the tag accordingly. Have a good day. --Finngall talk 21:34, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

Russian politicians
[edit]It's good that you are creating articles for Russian politicians, but some will not be notable under Wikipedia guidelines, so articles will be deleted. However, politicians who are elected to national level are notable (for example, it was easy to save the article Vasily Vlasov). I suggest you start at Results of the Russian legislative election, 2016 by constituency or 7th State Duma of the Russian Federation#List of Deputies as there are many deputies of the State Duma without articles. There are also many in the Federation Council without articles. Jack N. Stock (talk) 19:26, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Irina Pshenina
[edit]The article Irina Pshenina has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- not notable per WP:BIO, no significant coverage in reliable secondary sources
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jack N. Stock (talk) 02:51, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

Red&White
[edit]Do the shops have many wines? I thought "Red" and "White" of "Red&White" might refer to red wine and white wine after seeing mention in http://www.winereport.ru/wine-who-is-who-in-russia/ Jack N. Stock (talk) 06:16, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- I see, now. In http://www.rbc.ru/business/24/02/2015/54eb56279a7947d1aea5d335 - red for wine, white for vodka. Jack N. Stock (talk) 13:40, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
Hello, Joshua57. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Gareth Morrison, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

- Kudpung กุดผึ้ง, article Gareth Morrison was slightly modified counterpart Jacknstock, thank him for that. Article has been added to the sources, the actor is really significant, the pattern removal please remove--Joshua57 (talk) 14:33, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
Ways to improve Aleksandr Smetanov
[edit]Hi, I'm Boleyn. Joshua57, thanks for creating Aleksandr Smetanov!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This has been tagged for three concerns. His political position is also a little unclear in the article, certainly to those with little knowledge of Russian politics.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Disambiguation link notification for December 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Aleksandr Smetanov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FSB (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Andrew Smagin should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Andrew Smagin .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Thanks,

Issuing level 2 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))
[edit]Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Andrew Smagin. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete.
