Thanks for your contributions to Upstox. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Razer(talk) 17:37, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Vikasudayrajsharma! Your additions to Shibnibas have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:12, 25 March 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 29
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited King Koil, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Willowbrook, Illinois and Pearson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 29 November 2023 (UTC)

January 2024
[edit]Hello Vikasudayrajsharma. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Vikasudayrajsharma. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Vikasudayrajsharma|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 12:45, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for your messaging. Though I am familiar with the COI policy, and I declare that I do not engage in editing with a conflict of interest, nor do I receive or expect to receive payment for my edits. I create India-related pages mostly, covering topics such as history, politics, literature, and any Indian subject that I find notable according to Wikipedia's guidelines I touch only notable topics. I also dedicate my free time to improving pages and updating outdated content. Happy Wiki editing! --Vikasudayrajsharma (talk) 19:53, 7 January 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Priya Hiranandani-Vandrevala
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Priya Hiranandani-Vandrevala requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Priya Hiranandani-Vandrevala. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Wikishovel (talk) 12:28, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Wikishovel Thank you for showing your concern over the page. I understand, but, the deletion tag was placed on the article before I had completed my work on it. I had to leave abruptly due to urgent matters, and when I returned to my desk, I found the deletion tag.
- See I came across a deleted version of the article on a website called Everybodywiki (it mirrors Wikipedia pages) while researching the topic. While this may have influenced my version, but upon comparison, you'll see significant differences. It's far from what I have prepared. I have covered the topic in detail, in a neutral tone, and my version is not similar to the deleted one.
- Therefore, I believe that speedy deletion may not be appropriate in this case. I kindly urge you to reconsider your decision to flag the page for speedy deletion. Vikasudayrajsharma (talk) 14:52, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- Let's wait for an administrator to review the article. Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 16:15, 29 February 2024 (UTC)

- Thank you for noticing my work. Here, I am providing the source for Daga (Sheodas Daga / Shivdas Daga) being elected as a Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha). He received 110,886 votes for the Indian National Congress in the 1952 General Election, winning the election from the Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency (Source: ECI and IndiaVotes). The sources I have added to the page are in non-English (Hindi). Here is the source for Daga being a Member of the Central Legislative Assembly of British India (Source: 1 (name of Daga in legislative assembly debate , 2 it mentions Daga being an MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly), 3 and but I could not find his exact tenure in the legislature, so I did not add that.) Let me add these sources to the page as well. Vikasudayrajsharma (talk) 07:38, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
