Hello, I'm McGeddon. An edit that you recently made to London seemed to be a test and it has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 13:56, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No problem; I reverted your edit in order to get the infobox to render properly again, so feel free to have another go at it. You can use the "Preview" button to see what your change looks like before submitting it.

A couple of points about your edits, though - the Flag of the City of London is the flag of the smaller City of London district, not the whole city. And it seems more accurate to use the current climate description of London's being "similar to much of southern Britain" instead of "like much of the UK" (it is not very similar to Scotland, or even northern England). --McGeddon (talk) 14:11, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK thanks for the tips.

Hello, Vidal101, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Saint Lucian French Creole, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Saint Lucian Creole French. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 12:49, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Cst17. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Saint Lucian Creole French, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Cst17 (talk) 12:50, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Music of Grenada, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Calypso and Soca (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Climate data submission, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:08, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comment

Climate information needs to be added to the article about the place it relates to. This page is not likely to ever become an article. I suggest you ask for it to be userfied if you still want to use it somewhere. If it is no longer of any use then add {{db-author}} to it to get rid of it. SpinningSpark 17:59, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Vidal101. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Climate data submission".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Climate data submission}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 03:53, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
