Thank you, Cecethack, for reviewing our article, “The Effects of Stress on Memory”. Your review helped us come to the conclusion that our article Lead does summarize the content of our article and is not an area that needs revisioning. We agree with you that our Lead is overly detailed and have decided to spend time on other areas of improvement as a result. You mentioned in your review that our article needed to “just added more detail, or made it more clear”, we agree that our article is too technical for the average reader, which is why we’ve decided to add a section on stress and short term memory as the greatest possible enhancement as well as add necessary defining information where absolutely needs-be. As you stated, our article does have a well-developed Lead that does summarize the content of the article, but the article is too technical. Because re-phrasing the entire article would be a tremendous feat we have chosen to add a section on stress and short term memory as a means of enhancement, and to spend time adding citations and making syntactical error adjustments. Concerning your peer review it has helped us finalize our decisions as to the areas of improvement our article requires. Originally we thought that the Lead needed to be improved upon, but having a second opinion regarding the content of the article itself has helped us to understand that our plans to add another section is likely the best direction for us in enhancing our article.
