VictoriaNYC, I hope you will take comments left here as friendly advice and not any kind of "accusation". Nearly everybody here is working towards the same goal of improving the encyclopedia. Based on what I have seen, you seem to be making the effort to follow Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, in particular with respect to providing reliable sources. Indeed, thank you Wdchk. This is why I avoid the use of boilerplate templates. I just feel like the creeping use of Wikipedia for self promotion is one of the biggest dangers that it faces, and it can happen even in good faith, hence an early heads-up about anything resembling it seems in order. --Junkyardsparkle (talk) 20:05, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to both of you, and no worries - I was actually concerned that someone would assume I was the wife of one of the subjects I was writing about (Victoria Paterson), since we have the same name, but fortunately, that's not the case, and is just a coincidence.
