Proposed deletion of Vicky Martin Singh

[edit]

The article Vicky Martin Singh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No independent evidence of notability; the only source for this article is the subject's Web site.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vicky Martin Singh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. You can't just copy an article over to your user page or any subpage, that is copyright infringement, as you haven't properly attributed the source of the material. It doesn't help that you are bypassing a deletion process. You need to slow down and work with the system in place instead of trying to go around it. If you have an article deleted via Speedy Delete, you can always ask that admin to put a copy in your userspace, in a way that ISN'T a copyright infringement. Otherwise, you set yourself up for problems here. It isn't a free for all, ask someone for help instead of copy/pasting stuff. Dennis Brown - 21:36, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:07, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked you for several reasons:
  1. You've tried to repeatedly write about yourself on Wikipedia under different names, despite multiple deletions.
  2. You created a second account (WP:SOCKPUPPETRY) to try to create this article.
  3. You posted the article content on multiple people's pages, which is seen as disruptive editing and spam.
  4. At no point during this did you actually seem to talk to the other editors.
You may be unblocked if you can show that you understand the reasons for your block and you agree not to post about yourself on Wikipedia except to try to create an article at WP:AfC, but you will need to convince us that you are genuine. If you just repost the article content on your userpage then your talk page access will be revoked and you'll have to petition for an unblock via e-mail - and it will be unlikely that you will be unblocked if this becomes necessary.
