What this noticeboard is:
- It is an early step to resolve content disputes after talk page discussions have stalled. If it's something we can't help you with, or is too complex to resolve here, our volunteers will point you in the right direction.
What this noticeboard is not:
- It is not a place to deal with the behavior of other editors. We deal with disputes about article content, not disputes about user conduct.
- It is not a place to discuss disputes that are already under discussion at other dispute resolution forums.
- It is not a substitute for the talk pages: the dispute must have been discussed extensively on a talk page (not just through edit summaries) before resorting to DRN.
- It is not a court with judges or arbitrators that issue binding decisions: we focus on resolving disputes through consensus, compromise, and explanation of policy.
Things to remember:
- Discussions should be civil, calm, concise, neutral, and objective. Comment only about the article's content, not the other editors. Participants who go off-topic or become uncivil may be asked to leave the discussion.
- Let the other editors know about the discussion by posting {{subst:drn-notice}} on their user talk page.
- Sign and date your posts with four tildes "

Please note that it is not acceptable to simply remove content and references without an edit summary explaining why. It is also not acceptable to engage in a slow edit-war like this without discussing the issue on the article's talk page. This is the third time, you have done this in the last 10 days [1], [2], [3]. Please read WP:EDITWAR for guidance on this. Also, if you have any affiliation whatsoever with the subject of this article, either personal or professional, you need to read WP:Conflict of interest for guidance when editing under these circumstances. - I'm perplexed as to why you added this to the Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard and then immediately removed it. Is it because the robot automatically added your signature? Posts on discussion pages must always be signed. If you do not sign them, they will be automatically signed. In any case, the history of each page keeps track of each contribution and who made it. Someone with a different user name, did the same thing here. If you are editing under more than one account (or if any of the other single purpose accounts editing Julie Menin have more than one account), you all need to read this page ASAP. I'm serious, you must read it and take the contents on board. There are several editors keeping an eye on the Menin page now, and I will ensure that the controversy section is not restored. I agree that it is inappropriate. In any case, I strongly suggest that you declare your conflict of interest on the article's talk page and enter into the discussion there. I resent your unfounded implications. Give me an example and I will tell you how it's absolutely incorrect. Julie Menin, who I have no reason to promote or advertise for, has seen her living biography under attack from vandals. They delete cited and relevant information to her last election cycle, while throwing in irrelevant and poorly sourced material from that same cycle. Even more insidious/egregious, they put these negative attacks farther up on the page, under her "early career" section. I think you should look a little closer at what's going on before flying off the handle with threats.Veritas411 (talk) 20:40, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
