The page Draft:Kaliaperumal has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from http://members.tripod.com/~kkaliaperumal. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion ReviewDiannaa (talk) 14:24, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking

[edit]

Hello. It appears that you have been industriously adding wiki-links (links to other Wikipedia articles) to items in articles. While wiki-links are useful, there is such a thing as overlinking. Please review MOS:OVERLINK and Wikipedia:Overlink crisis before inserting more wiki-links. Thanks and welcome to Wikipedia. Constant314 (talk) 23:38, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Prajakta Shukre. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. In Wikipedia articles, people are not mentioned by their first name but by their last name, or a pronoun. You have made multiple edits to Wikipedia articles changing pronouns or last names to first names, in particular for female actors. Please do not do that, since it creates more work for other editors. Thanks! bonadea contributions talk 17:26, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kalaivani Kaliaperumal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hey

[edit]

Please don't move your own drafts into mainspace. I've had to move your piece on Ms Kaliaperumal back into draftspace, and move-protect it to make sure you don't try that again.

Once you've finished improving the draft - which you absolutely haven't done - submit it for review. To improve it, you must remove any and all statements for which you cannot find published sources. "I talked to Ms Kaliaperumal and she told me this herself" doesn't count.

Will removing all those statements be enough, maybe not, but it's a necessary first step.

Also, you're required to make full disclosure of your conflict of interest. Because it's blatantly obvious that you have one. DS (talk) 04:56, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Veinnill! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
