This section's perfectly fine as is.

Notable Social System Theorists

Talcott Parsons
This introduction is simple, but it appears to capture the most important bits. It would be very useful to give a brief description of his greater influence in the field, however; right now he's on a bit of an island and I have no context for what makes him notable.

Niklas Luhmann
Again, the description is useful but feels isolated. It would be useful to have an example of one of each of Parsons' social systems, and it would be nice to see a description of the influence of these theories. I made some slight edits to make the sentences you used a little more wiki-esque.

Jay Wright Forrester
This section is very solid, though it feels slightly too argumentative for an encyclopedia article. The last sentence, however, does need to be edited slightly so it feels more encyclopedic; make sure to mention that Forrester argues that the right leverage points need to be targeted, and not just state this asa fact.

Social Systems and Modeling
This section could probably use some examples of different social models in use in modern research, or examples of past models. However, it's complete as is.

Overall
This is pretty solid overall; I see no glaring flaws, and the only major thing I'd suggest changing is the lack of content overall for such an important page (I can't blame you, this is a big project to do in a small amount of time.) Good job!AlecWild (talk) 04:18, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hank's peer review

I second many of the reviews provided by Alec, including the usefulness of supplying examples for each individual social systems theory. Further, I think it could be beneficial if you provided a notion of scale for each of the differing systems conceptions, namely whether the Luhmann conception envelopes scales similar to the theories of Parsons and Forrester. Additionally, when outlining the current state of social system modeling and simulations, it may be beneficial to provide examples of current modeling paradigms, formats, or examples.
