Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Milan (cultural festival) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Milan (cultural festival) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/srmmilan/, https://www.facebook.com/SRMUNILD/, https://www.facebook.com/vault.dsa/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:22, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you requested the restoration of the above article about a university festival. After it was restored, all you have done is add some facebook links which do not do anything to demonstrate why the article is notable. I believe that, in its present state, the article is eligible for deletion again. You need to provide references from third-party sources such as newspapers to show that this festival meets the general notability criteria. I'll ping the admin involved Graeme Bartlett so that they are aware of this too. Please let me know if you have any questions about what is required. Hey, most of the content on the page is going to be updated. Right now we've got our hands tied with other work as well, so give us about a week's time to put this article back into a proper state. We'll be making changes little by little to improve it, with the proper references to meet the notability criteria on the revised content. Vault.dsa (talk) 04:13, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think it is safe to say that you are involved with the event, which could mean you have a conflict of interest. I recommend reading the advice at that link first. If you use the article to advertise an upcoming event then it could end up being deleted again. So I suggest focusing on past events, not the future. Also, by "we", if there are multiple people editing then each person must have their own account; sharing accounts here is not allowed. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 05:08, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No no, there's just one person using this account and making the edits. I'm just getting some help from my friends to make sure that my content is appropriate. Hence the "we". The idea is to update the information on the previous editions of the event only, not the future ones. I understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a mode of advertisement, and I intend to keep it that way. Vault.dsa (talk) 09:18, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you.
