Welcome to Wikipedia, Vinni3! I am Wisdom89 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Hey! I will add you soon as my adoptee. Tell me when you're back at Wikipedia. EliAS 21:00, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

School IP address blocked

Hi, it was most likely because there was a lot of vandalism coming from the school. If you can tell me the IP address then I could tell you exactly why I blocked it and how long. Most of the blocks I hand out are for vandalism though. Thanks, James086Talk | Email 14:09, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Well James, there is a problem with that. My school has an internet filter, and that makes life hard. Thanks for you help though!

You can actually get Wikipedia to tell you. When you are at school and not logged in, go to Special:Mytalk. Then copy the IP address up the top. If you want to write down the web address (or maybe email it to yourself so it's easy to remember) it's http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Special:Mytalk which will take you to the talk page of the IP address you are currently using (if you aren't logged in). James086Talk | Email 02:00, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Sounds good! I've unblocked the IP address and hopefully no more vandalism will come from the school. Thanks! James086Talk | Email 11:23, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

When?

Whenever you want :) Can you tell me how much you have knowledge about editing Wikipedia/What are the hard things? EliAS 21:39, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Infobox

Hello. I see you tried to add yourself an infobox to Template:Vinni3. Userboxes should be added to your userpage, or subpages like User:Vinni3/Infobox. I will add you the infobox template to User:Vinni3/Infobox, so you can see the proper structure of the infobox. If you want some part of it not to be shown, just leave it blank. When you are ready editing the userbox, save the page, and add {{User:Vinni3/Infobox}} to your user page. EliAS 10:22, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

re: Please block an IP

Per the blocking policy we don't permanently block IP addresses however that one is currently blocked. I'll keep an eye on it and block it for longer if the vandalism continues. As you said, it's possible that a whole network of schools use the same IP address. Thanks, James086Talk | Email 07:56, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Club Penguin Member's Player Card.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Polly (Parrot) 21:33, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Club Penguin Town.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Club Penguin Town.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:13, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:New Horizon Interactive Logo.png

Thanks for uploading Image:New Horizon Interactive Logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:08, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
