Thank you for updating the lighthouse article. In fact I too have seen many articles where the old imperial measures are still in use. A fine tool I discovered though is the convert template (check code): 1 foot (0.30 m) or 1,000 pounds (0.45 t). Just wrap it around the old entries and it will do the math for you (and even leave the imperial values for those who need them).

And as to picking userboxes from my site, no problem there. Heh, a Scotsman in favour of the EU and the Euro - that's something I hadn't seen yet. But then I say, let's leave the Canadians where they are. ;)

Wild Haggis

Hi Delta-NC. As per my edit summary, the main reason I made the reversion was that you added a large quantity of entirely uncited material. I had no doubt that your edit was well intentioned. Please feel free to add the material back if you can provide verifiable, reliable citations. If you can not cite the material it is classed as orginal research (OR), which Wikipedia does not publish.

This is the case for any article and as Wild Haggis concerns a fictional entity, often discussed with the specific intention of tricking people into believing in its existence, verifiability is particularly pertinent here. There will be a vast number of variations of the details of stories told informally about wild haggis, with individuals coming up with their own new embellishments all the time. Anything that makes it to Wikipedia must be notable however.

The fact that I reverted the article to its previous form does not imply an endorsement. I would agree that the article needs improvement. Hence, I replaced the OR tag which you had removed and added a couple more regarding citation.

Additionally there were a few issues to do with style and tone in your edit, so having a look at these guidelines may be useful to you.

Image problems

I recently uploaded a new version of a photo I added quite a while ago. The thumbnail shows the present image, however after clicking on it the image page shows the old version of the file, clicking through to the full size image displays the new version of the file. Why exactly is this happening? Is there any way to update the image shown on the image page to show the newest version of the image?

1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
