Oops

About your question: I hadn't noticed that the url was inside a ref. So it was OK. Sorry about that. Blush . - DVdm (talk) 14:24, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Arbpia

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

You may not edit articles such as Amin al-Husseini. Ignoring this warning will likely get your account blocked from editing. You are allowed to raise concerns/edit requests on article talk pages. Selfstudier (talk) 21:45, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Selfstudier: Please, tell me why I may not edit the Amin al-Husseini article. -- Valp (talk) 22:02, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you read the above Arbpia notice, you will see that you need to have been a registered user for (at least) 30 days, and have (at least) 500 edits in order to edit (controversial) IP articles, cheers, Huldra (talk) 22:21, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Huldra: Hi, Do you mean 500 edits on the english wikipedia, or on wikipedia ? (see CentralAuth Valp). -- Valp (talk) 22:45, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As this is an arb.com (WP:ARB) decision, and their "jurisdiction" is only over en.wp; -> yes, 500 edits on the english wikipedia, Huldra (talk) 22:48, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
