What is Autoblock?

{{unblock/Why am I being blocked? I just created this account and I haven't edited anything. Will I not be able to edit Wikipedia because we share an IP address with a mechanic school across the street? This is a fairly new complex. I just don't understand. I wanted to edit the Devo article. Am I even doing this right? And what am I doing wrong with my editing?
