AGF

You should warn or escalate this. [1] Without guidance, the offending editor may think this behavior is okay. Abe Froman 16:27, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, yeah, him. Well, if I recall correctly, this editor is also the owner of the perverted-justice.com web site. I think he edits mainly to work on the article on his web site. Normally that's not recommended but his site is so controversial that maybe it's necessary. Yeah I've had a run-in with him once before. He's a bit of a rough-and-ready type fellow, which is I guess is understandable giving the work he does. But there is no excuse for him being impolite. My first recommendation would be to just to ignore him when he gets that way. I've posted a message on his talk page asking him to please be civil in future. If that doesn't work, future possible next steps might include Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct. There is also the Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal, but that is more for specific content disputes, which I don't know if you are having. Herostratus 02:45, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for stepping in. I assure you that my purpose here is NOT to "goad" him or otherwise troll the article or any other. I really have better things to do with my time. On the other hand, I feel the editing that I've done is necessary to provide balance to an article that I felt was one-sided prior to my recent contribuitions. Aparently, this really upset the other editor (XavierVE) to the point where he reacted by making unconstructive and somewhat hurtful comments towards me. I've tried to ignore him, but he persists. I really hope this time he gives it rest. Otherwise, I will pursue the RFC. Thanks for your help. Vagr4nt 06:37, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

False vandalism claims

[edit]

Your false vandalism claims nmake it appear that you are trolling. Please don't. See Wikipedia:Avoid the word "vandal" and read it before making such accusations again. Thanks, SqueakBox 05:51, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your attemps to remove reliable sources from an article are unbecoming a wikipedia editor. There is absolutely no reason to remove the information you're attempting to remove beyond your attempts to assert your POV. Please see your talk page. Vagr4nt (talk) 05:57, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
