{{helpme}} I need some help with the DLA Piper page - the one Flags section is a big advert but another editor thinks it should stay and keeps undoing it.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:20, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I really do not appreciate you following me to King's College London and then making unconstructive tit-for-tat edits there (and accusing me of bad faith edits when I have made MANY improving edits to that article - please take a look at Wikipedia:Assume good faith). Rangoon11 (talk) 10:38, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I should also add that my edits were made in the main to undo a series of low-quality, uncited and POV edits made by another editor which had not been discussed, as was perfectly obvious.Rangoon11 (talk) 10:43, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You should discuss them at on a talk page first though VHarris44 (talk) 10:47, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not in the case where I am undoing large scale edits which have made the lead of the article considerably worse (uncited, POV, badly-written, messy) which were themselves not discussed prior to being made. You have now reverted my edits and the lead of the article is now a mess.Rangoon11 (talk) 10:53, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I Have read the links and this is wrong, I have not harassed anyone. I opened my account to deal with the advert on the DLA Piper page, when I read in the history of his talk page that he went to UCL and was editing large sections of the Kings page I undid them because felt he should not do that as they are rivals.

Decline reason:

Sorry you'll have to do considerably better than that. We are not fools. Go back to editing with your previous account as this one is clearly a sock. Theresa Knott | Sort that Knee! 14:10, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I have absolutely no idea what the hell you are talking about. This is my only account.

Decline reason:

This doesn't address your misconduct. — Daniel Case (talk) 14:57, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't see hat I have done wrong, other than want to fix an advert on DLAP page, then make a claim about the Uni another editor went to and point out he was making edits to its closet rival. I have not harassed anyone. I wish to continue editing, so what do I need to do to make that happen.

Decline reason:

This does not explain why you are systematically undoing the edits of one particular editor over a number of unrelated pages.  Sandstein  18:10, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

What un-related pages, all but one are Law firms which came up during the debate about DLAP all with the same advert look and feel. Kings as I have said before is the Uni I went to.

Decline reason:

This is your fourth request for unblock. Since in none of the four have you actually addressed the reason for your block, which is wikistalking another user and disruptively undoing his edits, I don't think that any useful purpose will be served by giving you the ability to make any further unblock requests. Unblock

[edit]

Your case has been discussed at length in various places. There does not seem to be a clear case against you, and I notice that in a number of articles you edited first, and only afterwards did Rangoon11 start editing, opposing your edits, which very much weakens the suggestion that this account was created to harass Rangoon11. In addition, the blocking admin has indicated a willingness for another admin to overturn the block, and nowhere can I find any evidence of a consensus to keep you blocked. I shall therefore unblock you. If this is too late, as you have been put off Wikipedia for good, then I can only express regret. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:32, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
