Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, V3393s, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page or you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! S0091 (talk) 19:32, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 00:16, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Guidance

[edit]

If you have a conflict of interest, you do need to declare it. That does not prevent you from creating an article through AfC. Also please be aware the subject does does not own the article, in this case Gwen Walz, so has no control of the content. S0091 (talk) 00:25, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gwen Walz moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Gwen Walz, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Minneapolis, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please stop disruptive editing. Thank you. -SusanLesch (talk) 19:43, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

SusanLesch Your version is the current version of the page. No further edits have or will be made on my part ~~

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Maple Grove, Minnesota. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Take it to the talk page please. This edit has previously been undone. It's certainly not a minor edit to restore contested content. Meters (talk) 22:58, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
