I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:FLOS B&B ITALIA GROUP S.P.A., which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. Hi@Jimfbleak I apologise for the delay in replying.

First of all we are mortified that our first content turned out to be advertising, it was neither our interest nor our wish.

We have tried to rewrite the text again, keeping it as neutral as possible.

I specify that we would like to create the page of the Italian Holding Company Flos B&B Italia Group, linking it to that of the individual brands already existing on Wikipedia (link here those of Flos, B&B Italia and Luis Poulsen), as well as that of the CEO of the Holding Company (Daniel Lalonde) from whom we have been mandated to write this page.

Could we try do draft a new version of the page?

Who is "we"? Are you working in behalf of the company? Your first edit here was a full-length highly promotional unreferenced article about the company, you say that you want to carry on writing about the company, you say the CEO told you to write this article (see WP:BOSS), you seemed to think you could use the brands images with impunity so your claim we are not directly linked to the Brand nor do we receive direct income from them is some way short of saying you have no conflict of interest. Use the procedure in the box above to request an unblock, and an independent admin will reply. You will not be unblocked to write about this company or anything related to it. Hi @Jimfbleak with apologies again for the misunderstanding, I will try to give you a broader context, but first I will mention that I have taken the time to read through all the anti-scam and advertising policies.

My partner and I are two copywriters and we are hired by various third-party agencies to increase the online visibility of their brands (including Design Holding) by writing SEO-relevant content.

We realised that the holding company, unlike some of its brands, did not have a Wikipedia page, so we made a piece of content to that effect.

This content contained all the references to the brand itself, to the holding company's other brands (Flos, B&B Italia, Luis Puolsen), and to all the international architects and designers who collaborate - or have collaborated - with them (such as Antonio Citterio, Castiglioni, etc.). The images were retrieved directly from the websites of the various brands and the copyright is exclusively theirs. Perhaps we should have included the reference?

We have also tried to include sources to authoritative portals and newspapers (such as Sole24Ore, a well-known Italian business magazine) and links to the brand.

Unfortunately, this is the first time we have attempted to write a page for a Holding Company, so I apologise if we have made mistakes or if our content may have been interpreted as promotional.

As I wrote in the previous message, we have tried to rewrite the text, removing all possible promotional tones, and would like to send it to you for revision, if possible.

Several issues.

Not a reason for the block, but you said The images were retrieved directly from the websites of the various brands and the copyright is exclusively theirs.

When you post an image here, you release it to be used for any purpose, including commercial, but there is nothing to suggest that the companies have agreed to you, in effect, waiving their copyrights. If they have, they must say so on their websites.

As above, you clearly have an association with the company that you should have declared.

may have been interpreted as promotional is something of an understatement, your text was an extended unreferenced promo, eg ...a group brand featuring the “modern classic” approach in its collections offering a complete range of sophisticated and elegant furnishings, designed in a tradition of artisanship with a contemporary approach. It combines excellent materials, precise manufacturing, and exclusive details. Maxalto uses its artisan skills... is pure spam with no real facts.

I am not going to unblock you. As I have already said, you should use the unblock request procedure described in the yellow box above, which will generate a blue box and attract the attention of an uninvolved admin to consider your request. May I ask you the kindness to tell me how I can go about declaring this association between us and the client? Is this declaration valid even if we go through the third company, which actually has contact with the brand, that commissioned the work from us?

I apologise again for the misunderstanding, I know it is not an excuse for you but it really was the first time for us and we are learning a lot from this exchange with you, so thank you. It will certainly help us to better understand your guidelines and not make any more mistakes.
