Notability of UveE

[edit]

A tag has been placed on UveE, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You shouldn't create articles about yourself - please read WP:COI and WP:BAND pablo : ... hablo ... 20:30, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Beat Thang Virtual, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with The Beat Thang Virtual. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:10, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Beat Thang comments

[edit]
Hello, Uvee90. You have new messages at Talk:The_Beat_Thang_Virtual.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

I left some comments, hopefully they'll be of help. :) Pianotech (talk) 02:12, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to The Beat Thang Virtual. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing.   — Jeff G. ツ 03:26, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Im So confused sorry..and I have fixed my page.. is it better now..

Hi again. It looks like you got off on the wrong foot, but it also appears you didn't mean to ruffle any feathers and didn't mean to intentionally do anything wrong. There are a few things as I mentioned in your article's talk page before an administrator deleted it. First off, as Jeff G said, you shouldn't remove the deletion notices from your pages; rather, you can put the {{hangon}} tag on the page under the notice and then state your case on the article's talk page. I urge you to try your article again. :) When writing the article, see WP:NPOV for a guide in writing your article from a neutral point of view. Then, be sure and add references to the article. It's pretty simple to do. I can help if you need some. Also, WP:Referencing for beginners has good information on how to do it. By adding references (and I found pretty many independent ones), you won't run into trouble with notability, etc. Too bad your first experience wasn't so great, but Wikipedia can be pretty forgiving when an editor makes a good faith effort to to things right. Give it another shot if you're so inclined. Thanks and take care, Pianotech (talk) 08:00, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Bob Ezrin, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Ridernyc (talk) 23:37, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
