Re: Basic Instinct

[edit]

No. Per WP:crystal only encyclopedic/confirmed information should be included. i will review and see if we can add into the main body of the article.Lil-unique1 (talk) 18:44, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you have the sources that would be useful thanks.Lil-unique1 (talk) 19:05, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Can someone tell me why I was blocked before I contest it. All of a sudden, I just see that it says I'm a sockpuppet of TrEeMaNsHoE.

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    • understand what you have been blocked for,
    • will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    • will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. -FASTILYsock(TALK) 01:08, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I am contesting my block, because if you look at my contributions you will see that my edits have not caused damage or disruption. Also, in the future, I will make certain that they aren't. As well as I saw no evidence for me to be blocked as a sockpuppet. The case wasn't submitted, and if you look at TrEeMaNsHoE's contribution, you will see that the only thing we share in common is that we edit music articles. Mlost of all, I will be extra careful to make sure all of my edits are constructive. If I go back on these promises, I will not contest another block.--Urban music fan (talk) 01:45, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Though i'm not an admin i agree with the decision to block the user. It seems highly unlikely that a 'new' user would be aware that i am closely monitoring Basic Instinct (album) to revert any edit which constitutes vandalism or violates the strict rules at WP:Albums/WP:crystal. The only way which this user could have known that i was overseeing the article was if i had encountered him/her in some previous incarnation. (surprise-surprise both Brexx and TrEmAnshoE socks have tried asking me to edit the article on their behalf).Lil-unique1 (talk) 03:44, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I didn't ask you to edit the article and I didn't know you were monitoring it. I just saw the hidden text that said not to put up recorded songs that were in the main article. I wanted to know who to ask about adding "Run it", so I looked in the history and saw it was you. That's why I asked if it could be added.--Urban music fan (talk) 23:19, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like TrEeMaNsHoE can't create a new account since his IP 68.248.72.172 (talk) is still blocked and he really wants to edit. I hope you know all your IP edits are nicely stored to track your editing patterns. Try again. — ξxplicit 23:24, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have read the rules and guidelines of wikipedia so I now know what I can and can't do. The block for the case in true, I was TrEeMaNsHoE. Back in November, I was editing Ciara discography, and to avoid the Three-revert rule, I logged out and used my IP address. I didn't know what sockpuppetry was at the time, or that it was wrong. I tried to make unblock request, but as I couldn't formulate them right, they continued to be declined and my talk page access was disabled. I therefore opened another account so that I could edit again. However, each time my new account was blocked. I didn't know what to do. However, I promise that if you unblock either TrEeMaNsHoE or this one (I only need one account), I will never engage in sockpuppetry again. I have looked at all pages on the subject and now full understand what it is. If you unblock me, I will only use one account and continue to make constructive edits. Thank you for your time.--Urban music fan (talk) 23:35, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are banned, you know it, and your promises to stop socking while you are still doing show that you still don't even get why you were banned. I will be revoking your ability to edit this page. You may appeal to the ban appeals subcommittee, but you are not going to get unbanned by creating more accounts. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:34, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
