Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to UNSW Residential Communities because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 22:14, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Materialscientist I just added links as reference, not sure why this was not accepted? Unswaccomeditor (talk) 01:23, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kylie not sure how the article does not qualify as we have other pages with similar content which was accepted. Could you please clarify? Also this page initially existed but was somehow deleted am I able to reinstate the page instead? Unswaccomeditor (talk) 01:19, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@KylieTastic Unswaccomeditor (talk) 01:19, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The article is NOT deleted (I'm looking at it, at Draft:Fig Tree Hall, University of New South Wales), and other articles that are in main space have, I assume, reliable secondary sources that prove their notability. Your has a web page and another web page. Drmies (talk) 01:21, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Unswaccomeditor, as Drmies said the page is not deleted and is even linked in the header of this section. The Other Stuff Exists argument is rarely helpful as any existing articles either up to standard or if not need to either be improved or deleted not be used as an argument to add more. All new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). When I reviewed Draft:Fig Tree Hall, University of New South Wales it had zero independent sources at all. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 09:41, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@KylieTastic I've included an article from SBS which features Fig Tree Hall, is this not a reliable enough source? Does reference need to be from a published book? Unswaccomeditor (talk) 04:32, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not aware of Special Broadcasting Service but as a public service broadcaster I would guess they would definitely be considered a reliable source. No references do not have to be in published books. However if you mean this it is just a passing mention in the text. Although sources do not have to be in English if the Urdu audio does talk about them in more depth it's impossible for most reviewers to assess, but the content suggests it is just related to the single issue (pre-dawn meal during Ramadan).
