[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Lý Thường Kiệt. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Strange Stories from a Chinese Room
[edit]Hi;
I undid your move from Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio because 1) There was no reason given 2) The new title was not a WP:TITLES#COMMON NAME. A Google Search for Strange Stories from a Chinese Room found not one hit. I also undid the redirect.
Please discuss on the TalkPage.ch (talk) 04:14, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- See above, and be aware of WP:BRD and WP:3RR – titles here on the English language Wikipedia are based on how the subject is commonly referred to in to in English, not trying to find some objectively "correct" title. Happy to discuss this here or on the article's talk page, and if you disagree with the policy on titles feel free to suggest an alternative at Wikipedia talk:Article titles. Cheers. ‑‑YodinT 16:17, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Nguyễn Thụy Đan
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nguyễn Thụy Đan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DHN (talk) 04:47, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Please stop removing the deletion notice from your vanity page. DHN (talk) 04:52, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
Neologism
[edit]Please stop using neologisms and systematically renaming articles using terms that you think are more "correct". Wikipedia article names are based on reliable sources, not from someone's blogs. DHN (talk) 01:30, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Trần Quang Đức "See Also" section.
[edit]Hi, the "See Also" section is supposed to direct readers to related Wikipedia articles, so there's no point filling it with links that go nowhere. See the relevant Manual of Style policy. Hairhorn (talk) 14:12, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Wikipedia style and rules
[edit]Here is some advice, regarding some of your edits:
- References are placed all the way at the end of a sentence, after any punctuation.
- It is absolutely unnecessary to have 4 columns in {{reflist}}s when there is only a handful of references. So stop using
;{{reflist|4}}
{{reflist}}
is enough. - If you want to change category names, place a request at WP:CFD (e.g. Ruism and Confucianism are the same, but Confucianism is the more common term in English, so stop changing everything into Ruism).
--HyperGaruda (talk) 17:10, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
- Do not add {{Category TOC}} to categories with less than 200 pages. It says so on the template page itself. --HyperGaruda (talk) 10:32, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
Please see WP:CONSISTENCY. The category should be Category:Vietnamese women poets, so that it matches others in the category tree. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 12:23, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been undone.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. --HyperGaruda (talk) 04:52, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
- I've reverted you again. If you continue editing in similar fashion you'll be facing a block. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:58, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
- The same goes for Category:Ruism in Vietnam and Category:Vietnamese ruists. "Ruism" is not a term used on Wikipedia, and if you want to change the category name you must take it to WP:CFD. Please do so. If you revert these changes again I will block you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:02, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
I undid your cut n paste move
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Lê Chiêu Thống a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Lê Mẫn Đế. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:37, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
- One more time
In spite of the note left above by Diannaa, you repeated the cut/paste move, and I reverted it. Please don't do that again, or a block will be forthcoming! Favonian (talk) 22:53, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
ANI
[edit]That's it! Despite numerous warnings, you continue not to follow our advice. Therefore, I have reported you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Unserefahne and Vietnam. Feel free to explain your behaviour there. --HyperGaruda (talk) 14:11, 12 November 2016 (UTC)

[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:32, 12 November 2016 (UTC)I have blocked you for one week. Please take the time to study our policies as outlined in the posts already on this talk page. Resumption of problematic editing once your block expires will likely lead to a longer block or being blocked indefinitely. Subjects you need to look at are naming conventions, how we handle diacritics, and especially our attribution requirements and how that applies to page moves. Page moves must be properly done in order to keep the continuity of the editing history. This is required under the terms of our CC-BY-SA license, and failure to do it is a copyright violation. Here's a list of some of problems that have already occurred with your editing, with links to the relevant policy pages that I recommend you study:
- Edit warring
- Inappropriate and disruptive page moves: WP:TITLES#COMMON NAME
- Inappropriate cut and paste page moves: WP:Copying within Wikipedia
- Inappropriate and disruptive changes to categories: WP:CONSISTENCY — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:49, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
Reference errors on 12 November
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Lý dynasty page, your edit caused a missing references list (help | help with group references). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:31, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
Blocked indefinitely
[edit]Since you chose to evade your block using the account Schwarzkäppchen, I have made your block indefinite. If you wish, you may appeal the block by following the procedure described in the first block notice above. Favonian (talk) 17:05, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
- It is not my account.
Your draft article, Draft:Phạm Đình Hổ
