ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:25, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... I've searched through the help docs and haven't found how I can include this article in the drop-down results when searching for "Lateranus": https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Plautius_Lateranus

Instead when searching "Lateranus" the only relevant result shown is https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Lateranus

Is there a document on how to edit this, or is it all done behind the scenes? Thanks! Unclevinny (talk) 22:48, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The dropdown is entirely automatic and based on lexicographic searching. I don't believe there's a way to alter it to achieve the result you are asking for. But I could be wrong. We could try introducing a redirect named "Lateranus, Plautius" to see if that will add it to the dropdown. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 23:06, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks for the quick response. I don't think it's worth it, actually, now that I have the disambiguator notice at the top of the Lateranus page. Unclevinny (talk) 02:52, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
