Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Synoptic Gospels, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:42, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How do I reply (sensibly) to this (perfectly justified) message ?

There is no need to reply directly to the user who left this message when he reverted your changes. If you wished to do so particularly you could leave a message at his talkpage User talk:Walter Görlitz. However, if you simply wish to make the change you attempted to make before, then firstly you should try to take on board the comment that was made regarding the absolute necessity for providing reliable sources for any content that is added to articles. If you make any changes to any articles that are well referenced and directly supported by reliable sources then you are unlikely to encounter the same problem in the future. I hope this makes sense, please feel free to re-add the helpme template if you have any follow up questions or there is anything that needs further clarification. --nonsense ferret 23:37, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, It looks like you're doing the right thing by addressing this issue on the article's (Synoptic Gospels) talk page. I suggest finding some published research or commentary that supports your stance, which seems logical to me, although I am not about to write about that topic.
Completely un-relatedly, you may want to consider changing your username, as it looks like you're writing on behalf of a company as opposed to yourself. This is not supported by Wikipedia's username policy (see: WP:CORPNAME) and could result in your account being blocked unnecessarily.
Hope that helps! - tucoxn\talk 23:41, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
