My computer crashed while I was writing this - I think I said that I am really pleased to see someone working on this article but I've had to remove all your edits because they are copyright violation of articles by the author you are writing about on your user page. Would you please read Wikipedia:Copy-paste and the links, particularly the one on close paraphrasing.

There were a couple of other problems. The text was too dense, but rewriting to avoid copyvio will avoid that. You also need to learn how to cite sources properly as you'd made a bit of a mess (no offense meant). Read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and then the link on that page about citing sources. I also see you are writing an article on your user page. Before you turn it into a real article in article space, could you make sure it conforms to Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies) and in particular, as the subject is alive, Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Again, you need to reference it and you must add some citations to third party sources (reliable in our terms, see WP:RS and independent) - this is required for living subjects. Some should show that he meets our criteria of notability at Wikipedia:Notability (academics).

I'm happy to answer any questions you might have, and can point you to boards where you can ask for help or guidance. Again welcome, and I'm sorry I had to remove your hard work. Dougweller (talk) 16:00, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
