Welcome

[edit]

Hello Umarsami and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Kashmir, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Kautilya3 (talk) 12:09, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Billinghurst. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please stop adding links to what would appear to be your website. Not cool.billinghurst sDrewth 09:59, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Kashmiris. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. EvergreenFir (talk) 18:05, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Walnut. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you persist in spamming links, they will end up on the spam black list which WILL stop your spamming. Just stop. Ravensfire (talk) 13:52, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Almond. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
